Terms
The terms for using Memoratu and this website. Last updated 13 October 2026.
Who these terms are with
These terms are between you and Subendran RV, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India (“we”). By creating an account or using Memoratu you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
How we handle your information is in the Privacy policy.
Your account
- You need an email address and a name to sign up, and you must confirm your email. You can use the app for 24 hours before you confirm it.
- Keep your password and recovery codes safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Give us true details, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
- An account belongs to the person who owns it. Other people can be invited into it and given the access you choose; you can remove them at any time.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Memoratu. If you are under 13, please do not create an account.
Acceptable use
Please do not use Memoratu to break the law or other people’s rights, to store or share anything unlawful, to attack, overload, probe or get around the limits of the service, to send spam or abuse through invitations or sharing, to access someone else’s account or data, or to resell the service without our written agreement. Personal access tokens and the command-line tool are for your own use and for automation you control, within the same rules.
We may limit or suspend an account that breaks these rules or puts the service or other people at risk.
Your content
What you put in Memoratu belongs to the account it is in. Todos, lists, projects and images are yours. You give us only the permission we need to store them, show them back to you and the people you share with, and carry out what you ask. We do not claim ownership of it and we do not use it for advertising. We do not train AI on your todos.
Content belongs to the account, not to the person who typed it. If someone you invited is removed, what they added stays in the account.
If you share a project, the other person can see and, with the access you give, change what is in it. If an account that shared work into yours is deleted, that work is deleted with it. Think about this before relying on a shared project.
Plans and limits
Memoratu has a free plan and paid plans. Each plan has limits, such as how many projects, lists and todos you can have, whether you can share, and whether you can use the command line. The limits are enforced by our servers, and the current ones are shown on the Pricing page. We can change limits and plans for the future; we will tell you before a change that reduces what you already have.
The free plan includes sync for the first 30 days. After that, sync switches off unless you upgrade. Everything already on each device stays on that device and nothing is taken away; devices then stop sharing changes with each other. You can download your data for free at any time.
The plans are Free, Solo and Team. The prices are the ones on the Pricing page: Free costs nothing; Solo is US$1.99 a month and Team is US$4.99 a month. Only monthly prices are listed; there is no annual plan today. The price you are shown on the purchase screen, in your store’s currency, before you confirm is the price that applies to that purchase.
Subscriptions
Paid plans are bought as subscriptions. When you buy one in the iPhone or Android app, the purchase is made with Apple or Google, not with us, and these points apply.
- Price and period. The price, the currency and the billing period (for example, monthly) are shown on the purchase screen before you confirm. Prices are in your store’s currency and include any taxes the store adds.
- Auto-renewal. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period for the same period, at the price then shown, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Your store account is charged within 24 hours before the renewal.
- Cancel anytime in the store. Manage or cancel in your Apple account settings (Subscriptions) or in Google Play (Payments and subscriptions). Deleting the app or your Memoratu account does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel first.
- After you cancel, the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and then your account moves to the free plan. Nothing is deleted when it does, but the free-plan limits apply from then on.
- Refunds are handled by the store that took the payment (Apple or Google), under its own rules. Ask the store; we cannot refund a store purchase ourselves.
- Payment is for the account. A subscription pays for an account, by one person, not for a person.
Ending your use, and ours
You can stop using Memoratu at any time and delete your account (see Delete your account). After you ask, there is a 24-hour window in which you can cancel; when it closes, the account’s content is deleted.
We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or the law, or that puts others at risk. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why, and you can still sign in to download your data.
The service, and its limits
- We work to keep Memoratu running and your data safe, but it is provided “as is”. We do not promise it will always be available or free of mistakes.
- Keep a copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. You can download your data from your account.
- We may add, change or remove features. Where we remove something you depend on, we will try to give notice.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or lost data, and our total liability for anything connected with Memoratu is limited to what you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute about them or about Memoratu will be heard by the courts in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. Nothing here removes a right you have by law that cannot be removed.
This website
Descriptions of features that are not yet released describe our plans, not a promise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top, and for changes that matter we will tell signed-in users in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using Memoratu after that, you accept the new terms; if you do not agree, you can delete your account first.
